Born in the 90’s, Vlad Jevtic developed a deep connection with techno at an early age — a connection that evolved into a philosophy of DJing as construction rather than selection. Inspired early on by Richie Hawtin, whose work as both a DJ and Plastikman shaped Vlad’s artistic vision from around 2010, he was drawn to techno as a space where performance, technology, and composition meet.
After studying Audio Engineering, Vlad began producing music professionally, refining a sound rooted in hypnotic groove, continuity, and long-form evolution. His approach emphasizes layering, real-time manipulation, and subtle transformation — where loops are built and dissolved, textures shift gradually, and transitions become compositional gestures.
Expanding this philosophy beyond DJing, Vlad introduced his alias NEMA (Culture Vulture), a full live performance concept that merges DJing and live elements into a single evolving system. Through this project, he explores the space between performance and production, blurring the line between set and live act.
As a producer, Vlad has released music on labels including Subsist Records, Agape Records, Aversion, and others, reflecting his dedication to a sound that balances hypnotic depth with warm, groove-driven momentum.
Rather than chasing peaks, Vlad prioritizes sustained states — guiding listeners through controlled changes in density, rhythm, and emotion. Technology is approached as an extension of creative intention, enabling responsiveness, precision, and deeper interaction with the dancefloor.
Through this architectural approach, Vlad Jevtic frames DJing as a living process: a space where decisions are heard, structure becomes narrative, and the dancefloor experiences music as an evolving form.
